Who we are

Greencastle Group is led by Daniel Harrison, who has spent nearly two decades advising organizations of all sizes – from crypto startups to Fortune 10 companies – on their most critical communications challenges. Starting in 2018, Daniel played a key role in establishing the communications function at Coinbase. During his five years at the company, he guided its internal and external communications strategy as Coinbase grew from 250 employees to more than 6,000 and navigated one of the largest public listings in history. During his tenure, he led product and internal communications, while simultaneously driving executive communications strategy and execution for nearly every member of the company’s senior leadership team, including its founder and CEO, COO, and CTO.

Before joining Coinbase, Daniel was at Facebook, where he helped launch and promote key products such as live video, Facebook Dating, and anti-fake news tools. Daniel began his career at Brunswick, a leading critical issues firm, where he advised companies such as AT&T, American Airlines, Bain Capital, and Cisco on financial transactions, issues and reputation management, and regulatory challenges.
